Hepatobiliary pancreatic Surgery services of BRB Hospitals Ltd is the first of its kind at a private Hospital of Bangladesh.  Hepatobiliary pancreatic Surgery services of BRB Hospital was initiated by Professor Mohammad Ali, the pioneer of Hepatobiliary pancreatic Surgery and Liver transplantation of Bangladesh. He started Hepatobiliary pancreatic Surgery at Gastroliver Hospital & Research Institute in the year 2000.This specialized gastrointestinal & Hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery service of Bangladesh was the former organization of BRB Hospitals Ltd. BRB Hospitals ltd. started in the year 2014.

 Liver transplant Services:

Dept. of Hepatobiliary pancreatic Surgery take care of the end stage Liver disease (Cirrhotic) Patients. Provide pretransplant & post-transplant patient care.

Pretransplant care: Select those (recipient) needing Liver transplant. Prepare, perform   Imaging and other tests. and treat the comorbidities. Performs donor selection & preparations.
